About me...

If you've gotten this far, you probably already know my name, but just in case, my name is Roger Rosales. I am an independent filmmaker and a full time product photographer for an online retail store. My passion for all things Photography didn't ignite until early 2000, when I was exposed to what is refered to as "AMV's"- short for "Anime Music Videos". When I saw my first fan made music video I was floored that a regular Joe like myself can edit such cool looking videos.

The rest is history. Gradually I became more involved in my projects until one day, choping someone elses footage wasn't satisfying my creative need. I realized I wanted to create my own stories and my own imagery. Since then, I have never stoped. I have strayed, but not because of lack of motivation or passion, but because the burden of reality weighed upon my shoulders heavily and the enslavement of our current system makes it difficult for one to seek out their passions while still being able to provide food for a growing family.

This is where Photography comes in. Through still photography I have a new found freedom. The freedom to create at the push of a button. It certainly offers quicker gratification, but it does not replace my love for filmmaking. I saw opportunities to make money in photography so I went down the path of the still photographer and soon after I landed my first (and current) gig as a product photographer for an online bike retailer (pricepoint.com).

I most certainly couldn't be happier. However, working full time as a product photographer is a double edged sword. On one side, i'm down what I love, but on the other, I'm suffering the sharp sting of my life being dictated by the dreaded time clock.

And this is where this website comes into play. I am here to offer the world my services. I am here to serve all those who have something new to sell. I am here for those who would like their wedding documents. I am here for those who want a music video for their latest recording. I am here to give you all that I know all while giving you 100% of my efforts.

If the answer is YES, then I'm your man! I love what I do and I can't imagine doing anything else. My main purpose as a photographer/videographer is to capture those moments in life that only happen once. I live for the moment and that moment is yours. I'm just there to capture it so you can enjoy it however and whenever you want.
